Secret Paradise: coastal villages, a hidden oasis and dunes

A day away from the crowds, between the Atlas and the ocean.

We drive north through Anza, Aourir, Tamraght and Taghazout, past the ocean, the beaches and the argan groves. First stop: Aghroud, a colourful seaside village.

The road then climbs into the first slopes of the Atlas to a Berber village, where you’re welcomed with mint tea. A short walk downhill leads to the hidden oasis, with its fruit trees, vegetable gardens, palms and clear water for a swim.

Lunch is a tajine in a local restaurant. The day ends in the Timlaline dunes, facing the sea.
