Souss-Massa: oryx, gazelles and bald ibis

30 minutes from Agadir, a protected park of more than 33,800 hectares.

Created in 1991, Souss-Massa National Park is home to more than 250 bird species, around 30 mammals, and 35 species of reptiles and amphibians.

Your visit starts at the information centre and its small museum, which introduces the park’s endangered species: scimitar-horned oryx, addax, dama gazelle, dorcas gazelle, North African ostrich and bald ibis.

Then you set off with your guide to see them by vehicle and on foot. On the way back, we stop briefly at Tifnit, a fishing village on the Atlantic coast.
