Blue lanes and the Strait of Gibraltar: the north in 7 days
Rabat, two nights in Chefchaouen, Tangier and white Asilah, on a private loop from Casablanca.
Days 1–2. Your driver-guide meets you at Casablanca airport. The next morning, the Hassan II Mosque, built over the ocean, then Rabat: the Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V and the Kasbah of the Udayas.
Days 3–4. We drive north through the green foothills of the Rif to Chefchaouen. At sunset, the view from the Spanish Mosque on the hill. The next day is yours: Outa el-Hammam square, the Ras el-Maa spring and the blue staircases.
Days 5–6. Tetouan and its white medina, then Tangier, Cap Spartel, where the Atlantic meets the Mediterranean, and the Caves of Hercules. The next morning, the kasbah of Tangier, then Asilah, with its white walls and murals above the sea, before the drive back to Casablanca.
Day 7. After breakfast, your driver-guide takes you to the airport or wherever you like in Casablanca.

Day 1 · Arrival in Casablanca
Your driver-guide meets you at Casablanca airport (or at your hotel) and takes you to your accommodation. If time allows, take an evening walk on the Corniche by the ocean.
Day 2 · Casablanca → Rabat
Start with the Hassan II Mosque, built over the ocean – its interior can be visited on a guided tour at set times (ticket not included).
Drive up the coast to Rabat and see the Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V and the Kasbah of the Udayas. Dinner and the night in Rabat.
Day 3 · Rabat → Chefchaouen
Head north through farmland and the green foothills of the Rif to Chefchaouen, arriving in the afternoon.
Take a first walk through the blue lanes and end the day at the small Spanish Mosque on the hill, where the view at sunset is beautiful.
Day 4 · Chefchaouen – the blue city
A full day in Chefchaouen at your own pace: Outa el-Hammam square and the old kasbah, the Ras el-Maa spring, small craft shops and endless blue doors and staircases to photograph.
Feel like nature? A half-day trip to the Akchour waterfalls in the Rif mountains can be arranged on request.
Day 5 · Chefchaouen → Tetouan → Tangier
Drive through the Rif to Tetouan and its white, UNESCO-listed medina, then on to Tangier.
In the afternoon, visit Cap Spartel, where the Atlantic meets the Mediterranean, and the Caves of Hercules, then enjoy the evening by the bay.
Day 6 · Tangier → Asilah → Casablanca
Morning walk through the old kasbah and medina of Tangier, with views over the Strait of Gibraltar.
Drive down the coast to Asilah, a small fishing town with white walls, blue doors, ramparts above the sea and colourful murals, then continue to Casablanca for the night.
Day 7 · Departure
After breakfast, your driver-guide takes you to Casablanca airport or to a place of your choice in the city.

Good to know
- 🎒 What to bring: comfortable walking shoes for the medinas, sunglasses, a hat, sunscreen and a light jacket for the evenings.
- 🕌 Mosques and holy places: wear clothes that cover shoulders and knees. Most mosques are closed to non-Muslims; the Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca can be visited on a guided tour at set times.
- ☀️ Best seasons: March to June and September to November. Summer is hot inland; in winter the mountain roads can be cold and sometimes snowy.
- 🕌 Riad in the Medina? Cars can’t enter the narrow lanes, so your driver meets you at the nearest drop-off point.

Is the price per person?
Yes. Prices are per person and get lower as your group grows. For example, 4 travellers pay €690 each, so €2,760 in total.
Will we share the van with other travellers?
No. This is a private tour: the van, the driver-guide and the itinerary are just for your group.
Is a guide included?
Yes. Your English- or French-speaking driver-guide stays with you for the whole tour, tells you about the places you visit and helps with everything on the way. In the medinas you can also hire a licensed local guide on the spot (optional, paid locally).
Can we change the itinerary or add a night?
Of course – it’s your private tour. Tell us what you’d like (an extra night, a slower pace, another start or end point) and we’ll send you a price on WhatsApp.
Is this tour suitable for children?
Yes, families are welcome. The days include long drives, so we take regular breaks. Tell us the children’s ages when you book.
