From the Strait to the blue city: the north in 7 days
Cap Spartel, Asilah, Rabat, Casablanca and two nights in Chefchaouen, on a private loop from Tangier.
Days 1–2. Your driver-guide meets you at the ferry port, at Tangier airport or at your hotel. The next morning, the kasbah of Tangier, Cap Spartel, where the Atlantic meets the Mediterranean, and the Caves of Hercules. Then the white walls and murals of Asilah, and Rabat for the night.
Day 3. Rabat: the Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V and the Kasbah of the Udayas. In the afternoon, the Hassan II Mosque, built over the ocean, and an evening on the Corniche in Casablanca.
Days 4–5. We drive north through the green foothills of the Rif to Chefchaouen. At sunset, the view from the Spanish Mosque on the hill. The next day is yours: Outa el-Hammam square, the Ras el-Maa spring and the blue staircases.
Days 6–7. Tetouan and its white medina, then a last evening by the bay in Tangier. On day 7, drop-off at the ferry port, the airport or wherever you like in the city.

Day 1 · Arrival in Tangier
Your driver-guide meets you at the ferry port, at Tangier airport or at your hotel and takes you to your accommodation. Enjoy a first evening by the bay or in the cafés of the old town.
Day 2 · Tangier → Cap Spartel → Asilah → Rabat
Morning walk through the old kasbah and medina of Tangier, then drive out to Cap Spartel, where the Atlantic meets the Mediterranean, and the Caves of Hercules.
Continue down the coast to Asilah for a walk among its white walls, blue doors and murals above the sea, then on to Rabat for dinner and the night.
Day 3 · Rabat → Casablanca
Discover Rabat: the Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V and the Kasbah of the Udayas above the river mouth.
In the afternoon, drive to Casablanca and see the Hassan II Mosque, built over the ocean – its interior can be visited on a guided tour at set times (ticket not included). Evening on the Corniche.
Day 4 · Casablanca → Chefchaouen
Leave the coast and drive north-east through farmland and the green foothills of the Rif to Chefchaouen.
Take a first walk through the blue lanes and end the day at the small Spanish Mosque on the hill, where the view at sunset is beautiful.
Day 5 · Chefchaouen – the blue city
A full day in Chefchaouen at your own pace: Outa el-Hammam square and the old kasbah, the Ras el-Maa spring, small craft shops and endless blue doors and staircases to photograph.
Feel like nature? A half-day trip to the Akchour waterfalls in the Rif mountains can be arranged on request.
Day 6 · Chefchaouen → Tetouan → Tangier
Drive through the Rif to Tetouan and its white, UNESCO-listed medina, then on to Tangier for a last evening by the bay.
Day 7 · Departure
After breakfast, your driver-guide takes you to the ferry port, to Tangier airport or to a place of your choice in the city.

Good to know
- 🎒 What to bring: comfortable walking shoes for the medinas, sunglasses, a hat, sunscreen and a light jacket for the evenings.
- 🕌 Mosques and holy places: wear clothes that cover shoulders and knees. Most mosques are closed to non-Muslims; the Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca can be visited on a guided tour at set times.
- ☀️ Best seasons: March to June and September to November. Summer is hot inland; in winter the mountain roads can be cold and sometimes snowy.
- 🕌 Riad in the Medina? Cars can’t enter the narrow lanes, so your driver meets you at the nearest drop-off point.
- 🥗 Food: vegetarian or another diet? Just tell us when you book.

FAQ
Is the price per person?
Yes. Prices are per person and get lower as your group grows. For example, 4 travellers pay €730 each, so €2,920 in total.
Will we share the van with other travellers?
No. This is a private tour: the van, the driver-guide and the itinerary are just for your group.
Is a guide included?
Yes. Your English- or French-speaking driver-guide stays with you for the whole tour, tells you about the places you visit and helps with everything on the way. In the medinas you can also hire a licensed local guide on the spot (optional, paid locally).
Can we change the itinerary or add a night?
Of course – it’s your private tour. Tell us what you’d like (an extra night, a slower pace, another start or end point) and we’ll send you a price on WhatsApp.
Is this tour suitable for children?
Yes, families are welcome. The days include long drives, so we take regular breaks. Tell us the children’s ages when you book.
How do I book and pay?
