Small desert day trip from Agadir

Embark on a full-day adventure exploring the diverse landscapes surrounding Agadir — from wild beaches and Berber villages to sand dunes and a touch of desert charm.

Your journey begins at 8:30 AM with a hotel pickup. The first stop is the quiet fishing village of Sidi R’bat, where you’ll stroll along a secluded beach, visit traditional fishermen’s caves, and maybe even collect a few seashells along the shore.

Next, enjoy an off-road drive through sandy tracks and coastal dunes, offering spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean. Then head toward the Massa River, a haven for birdwatchers — keep an eye out for migrating birds, including the rare Bald Ibis.

Continue to the walled city of Tiznit, famous for its ancient ramparts and traditional Berber silver jewelry. Take a short break to explore the medina, meet local artisans, or simply relax with a coffee.

From there, the road climbs into the foothills of the Atlas Mountains, where a delicious homemade lunch awaits in a Berber house. Enjoy a hearty meal of Tajine and Couscous, followed by seasonal fruits and fresh mint tea. (Vegetarian options are available upon request.)

After lunch, head to the small Sahara dunes, where you’ll have time to take stunning photos, walk on the soft sand, and optionally enjoy a camel ride (not included in the tour price).

The final stop is the Youssef Ben Tachfine Dam, a peaceful reservoir offering panoramic views over the desert and countryside. After taking in the scenery, you’ll return to Agadir in the early evening.
