We drive to Agadir and along the beach promenade, then climb to Agadir Oufella, the 16th-century Saadian fortress, with the city and the fishing port below.

At the Argan Cooperative, Berber women show you how they make Morocco’s “liquid gold”.

Last stop: Souk El Had, the region’s biggest market, with about an hour to browse and haggle for spices, souvenirs and clothes.
